On Saturday 11th of September 2010 at 3.00 P.M in Ghisalba/Bg at  Parco del Serio we are meeting for an italian tea party
subject matter of the afternoon: HAMMAM
always searching for new locations to organise our pic nic, we are this time heading into Parco del Serio. In a small natural auditorium on the river bank :) we'll listen to Nicoletta Prandi and her humid stories

TO PROTECT THE ENVIROMENT:
NO PLASTIC bring a cup and a spoon for you to share
bring what you've got and what you like: tea, herbal tea, coffee, barley, hot chocolate
biscuits and cakes would be much appreciated
if you have a camping stove take it with you togheter with a cushion to sit down: the river bank is stony!!!
we'll provide a tea pot, fresh milk, water and sugar.
we are going to walk for about 5 minutes through the park
prearrange with the other to use only one car and give a lift to other attendees
remember to take the rubbish with you
invite a friend who could be interested

 
 
-I regain my body in the popular Ammam. In the western tourists -who I've deserted after the first experiences- Fragrance and amber parfumes, orangy and maybe even jasmines aggravate the air, while here rules only the odorous exhalation of plenty of proletarians shower gels and black soap which still dominates bought in the street, together with ghassoul, the clay which makes shiny different aged women's hair. The young woman washes the old lady, so does a mother with her daughter a little girl, the bodies reveal an unexpected poetry. Immersed in the steam, the mind wonders completely relaxed,I'm waiting for somebody to take care of my extern cortex with vigorous massages. "...your city won't be perfect until you'll have baths..." said Bu Sir, an arabic historical scolar.
